Indiependence Music & Arts Festival has today announced the second batch of acts which are set to play this year’s festival.
Hozier, The Minutes, Hudson Taylor, Dan Croll, Tvvins, The Altered Hours, Elastic Sleep, The Vincent(s), Toy Soldier, Slow Motion Heroes, Codes, Acrobat, Atlantis Fire Department and Hunting the Braveare will join already announced headliners Public Enemy, Tom Odell, White Lies and Fun Loving Criminals.
Also playing this years are Damien Dempsey, Scroobius Pip vs Dan Le Sac, David Holmes, Delorentos, The Sultans Of Ping, Orla Gartland, Lisa O’Neill, Walking On Cars, The Academic, We Cut Corners, Chloe Howl, Deep Shit, FYFE, Horse Meat Disco, Neon Atlas, Jacques Renault, Big September, Mindriot, Darling and A. Skillz.

The Rory Gallagher Festival returns to Ballyshannon, Co Donegal on Thursday 29th May to Sunday 1st June 2014 with a host of Irish and International acts set to perform over the course of the 4 days.

Following two sold out shows in the same venue last year, American heavy metal band Slayer have announced a date at The Academy on Tuesday, 1st July.
The band are currently working on their eleventh studio album (The first since their 2009 release World Painted Blood) which is due for release later this year.
Tickets priced €39 go on sale this Friday at 10.00am.

While controversy may still rage on over HMV marking the return of their Grafton Street store with an Record Store Day opening they will do so with a host of Irish talent on display.
The store will open at 8.00am with the store giving a free PlayStation 4 console to the first person in the queue and 40% off all vinyl on the day.

Following a three and a half year break Roddie Cleere has announced the return of his Irish Music Show. The show will be broadcast on KCLR which broadcasts to Kilkenny and Carlow.
The show will showcase the best in homegrown talent every Sunday between 7pm and 10pm with the first show taking place on Sunday 4th May.
Gig guides, local and national, interviews and other features will help to ensure that lovers of Irish bands/acts are soundly catered for and kept up to date.
